10th June. Workshop – Cyber Security Opportunities in Horizon Europe
Security is one of the main concerns for Europe’s governments, organisations and citizens and is therefore among the top priorities for the European Commission Horizon Europe Programme. Europe’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of the EU economy and can contribute to solving Europe’s security challenges through Research & Innovation and the uptake of security solutions developed by start-ups and innovative SMEs.
However, engaging in EU projects can be a challenge for SMEs from identifying suitable funding calls to joining a consortium. This workshop aims to promote EU R&D Opportunities in Cyber Security for SMEs and share the value, and challenges, of participating in EU projects.
In this EU R&D Opportunities workshop you will hear from Horizon 2020 Project Co-Ordinators, an Irish SME participating in a H2020 project, as well as Ireland’s National Contact Point for Horizon Europe’s Civil Security for Society Pillar.
- David Rios Morentin, Policy & Project Officer, European Commission, DG HOME
